Sandoz Henry
Colour short film entitled “GLIMPSES OF GREECE”, directed by Henry Sandoz, with cinematography by Michail Gaziadis and Pierre Levan and edited by Jacques Palfrey, presenting the post-war reconstruction and modernisation of the country. The camera records iconic monuments such as the Acropolis and Meteora, tourist infrastructure and major technical works, while highlighting industrial development in Skaramangas, Piraeus and the aluminium factory. At the same time, rural daily life is depicted, from weaving in Metsovo and timber work in Zagori to rice harvesting, while the video concludes with footage of the armed forces and modern urban life in Athens.
