MOUNTAINOUS WINDS
Katsari-Gose Konstantina
Colour tourism short film by T.V.F. Productions (1994) for “EVRYTANIA S.A.”, supported by the LEADER programme, directed by K. Katsari-Gose with narration by A. Kostalas. The video traces the history of the region from antiquity and King Eurytus to the Byzantine period, the era of the klephts and the National Resistance. At the same time, it captures the mountainous terrain of Agrafa, the peaks of Chelidona and Kaliakouda, as well as the Holy Monasteries of Proussos and Tatarnas. Traditional occupations of the inhabitants are presented alongside modern alternative tourism activities.
