FIVE PEARLS OF THE DODECANESE

Colour short film entitled “FIVE PEARLS OF THE DODECANESE”, produced by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) and PANORAMIC, directed by Kostas Nastos, presenting five islands of the Dodecanese. The film records the ancient and medieval monuments of Kos, the town of Kalymnos with its sponge-diving tradition, as well as the castle and amphitheatrically built settlement of Astypalaia. At the same time, it showcases traditional crafts and local festivities on Leros, while concluding with Patmos and the historic Monastery of Saint John the Theologian. The film highlights the cultural and tourist identity of the islands through monuments, settlements, and scenes of everyday life.
