Nikolaidis Giorgos
Colour short film by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (1997) entitled “Discover Greece – Argolis Nafplio”, directed by Giorgos Nikolaidis and written by Panos Yfantis. The film presents Nafplio, beginning with its mythology and history as the first capital of the modern Greek state. It includes shots of historic buildings, museums and fortifications, as well as references to the assassination of Kapodistrias. At the same time, the city’s modern tourist infrastructure, waterfront and public spaces are highlighted.
