Nastos Kostas
Colour short film entitled “CRETE”, a GNTO production by the Crete Mediterranean Integrated Programme, directed by Kostas Nastos, with production organisation by Haris Andreou and music by Manos Moundakis, presenting the island as a cultural crossroads. The camera records the natural landscape with Psiloritis, Samaria Gorge and the coasts of Vai and Matala, while highlighting the historical course from the Minoan palaces of Knossos and Phaistos to the Roman, Byzantine and Venetian monuments of Heraklion, Chania and Rethymno. The video concludes with scenes from the daily life of the inhabitants, presenting agricultural production, traditional architecture, weaving and musical heritage through a Cretan celebration.
