ARGOSARONIKOS
Colour short film entitled “ARGOSARONIKOS”, produced by the Greek National Tourism Organisation, presenting the six islands of the Saronic Gulf: Aegina, Agistri, Spetses, Hydra, Poros and Salamis. The video highlights the historical identity of the islands through major monuments such as the Temple of Aphaia Athena and the house of Nikos Kazantzakis, the mansions of Bouboulina and Tsamados, the Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi and the Cave of Euripides. At the same time, it records the geographical diversity of the gulf, from Halikiada and the Lemon Forest to traditional settlements and fishing villages. The film concludes with the presentation of local products, folk art and modern tourist infrastructure for accommodation and nightlife.
