Colour tourism short film by the GNTO and the Ministry of Tourism, with music by Vasilis Moustos, presenting Corfu through its historical and contemporary identity. The visual material begins with engravings and paintings before moving to the city’s iconic landmarks, such as Pontikonisi, the Old Fortress, the Spianada and the Liston. At the same time, the camera tours the interior of the Achilleion and the exhibits of the Archaeological Museum, highlighting the island’s cultural heritage. The film also covers the rural road network, traditional settlements and the island’s diverse coastline with its caves and coves. Finally, it records modern tourism infrastructure, leisure activities, hotels and the destination’s nightlife.
