THE LAND OF EPIRUS
Colour short film entitled “THE LAND OF EPIRUS”, produced by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) with technical processing by Studio MULTIVISION, featuring narration in Greek. The film begins with panoramic views of Ioannina and Lake Pamvotida, presenting museums, the ancient theatre of Dodona, urban life, and traditional crafts such as silversmithing. It then focuses on the Pindus mountain range, Metsovo, Konitsa, and the Zagori villages, highlighting their stone architecture, the Vikos Gorge, and the Voidomatis River. The film also presents sporting activities, local festivals, and contemporary nightlife, accompanied musically by the song “Kontoula Lemonia”, and concludes with a shot of the castle.
