JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH
Grammatikopoulos Nikos
Colour short film entitled “JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH – THE ACROPOLIS RALLY PAST PRESENT FUTURE”, produced and directed by Nikos Grammatikopoulos for the GNTO (1998–1999), presenting the historical development of the Acropolis Rally from 1951 to its inclusion in the World Rally Championship. The video combines rally action on dirt roads with the presentation of leading Greek destinations such as the Acropolis, Ancient Olympia, Meteora, Mykonos and Delphi. At the same time, it records technical specifications, the organisation of a motocross event in Megalopolis and an interview with Kostas Stefani (rally co-driver), highlighting the international scope of the institution.
